I watch movies to enjoy them. I know the story of Selma. Not necessarily something I desire to see in movie form.

Supposedly Seth Rogan said something as well, it's all bullshat anyways. I personally am not a huge fan of Chris Kyle, I think the guy was a massive asshat, a complete and utter dick in real life from what I've seen of him, but the guy is dead and the movie is really popular (it's grossed more than any other January movie in history for crying out loud...) - just don't make it an issue on twitter you fat frick - you just helped it that much more.

Same reason I didn't go see the passion when every catholic told me it was my duty too.

Seth got completely misinterpreted IMO. He was referencing inglorious bastards and people went crazy.

exactly - stupid comments by him completely backfire on him, kinda like the "baptist boycott of Disney" back in the day, and their sales skyrocketed

I got super baked before seeing Passion. The ticket line wrapped around the building it was so long. The whole time I could feel all the eyes judging me. I sat next to an old woman that wept the whole time and I was paranoid that everyone knew I was high. One of my favorite movie going experiences. The actual movie was torture porn and pretty awful.
