Seth got completely misinterpreted IMO. He was referencing inglorious bastards and people went crazy.

He said American Sniper was similar to the Nazi propaganda film in Inglorious Basterds. It was a back handed comment.

I hate this whole American Sniper fiasco. This average movie is being turned into something it is not by both sides.

American Sniper kind of reminds me of the movie that's showing in the third act of Inglorious Basterds.

I don't have a problem with this. I see the similarities. Especially since he followed it with this

I just said something "kinda reminded" me of something else. I actually liked American Sniper. It just reminded me of the Tarantino scene.

Well...most people walk around with their heads up their asses. So that makes sense.

I glanced at it. Something about fat being vital to developing the nervous system.

So we had one of those scary parent moments last night. In the middle of the night she made this cough/choke noise while she was sleeping that scared the shite out of us. We both shot up and ran over to her. She was already over it by the time we got to her. She is such a troll...

I don't worry about breathing much but that noise freaked us out. How much does he get up at night?

At it's worst, 6 times. Although he's had a ton of teeth come in lately.

Right now Gardokette is only getting up every 3 hours when it is her time to eat. Sometimes she goes 3.5 hours and we have to wake her up.

but they have a way of making it seems it's about them instead of the kids. "Look at me, I'm a paw paw".

My wife's dad has starting doing this. I've actually had to step in before. At my daughter's 3rd bday party he was bugging her for a bite of her marshmallow pop. He made a whole scene crawling on the floor chasing her and trying to bribe her with cash. Finally I picked her up and said there were more marshmallows in the kitchen and to quit annoying my daughter on her bday

Then on Christmas he wanted to read her a book. She picked a book. He says "No, I want to read a different book". Well after a back and forth between the two I said from across the room "Dude...she's 3. Just read the book she wants to read"

And then my sister in law would sometimes have the nerve to tell me what/how I should do things. She hasn't done that since I said (in front of room full of people) "Tell you what...when you have kids then you can tell me what to do with them. Until then, I got this"

Sorry for the MJ rant. But people making it about themselves instead of the kids is something that grinds my gears. I mean...grow the F up

Edit: after reading thru this thread I can see why it's a select group of people posting.

blah blah my kids blah blah my kids. If I wasn't a dad I wouldn't read/post either
