it has to apple for our company, they reimburse me monthly so please don't suggest another brand

I have a 5 that's old as shite and the top power button doesn't work but other than that works fine

I really like the size of the 6 but at this point its almost Feb and the iphone 6s and 7 rumors are already starting. should I just get the 6 or wait until summer/fall and hope that they release a 6s or 7?

Switch now...they reimburses you. Who cares? Switch again if a 7 comes out
Are would you rather wait till you old one leaves you in a bind.

FYI, I would fire you if something happened and you couldn't be reached but knew I would I've bought you a working phone.

Its been speculated that Apple may begin to release new iPhones each year. Complete speculation, so I really think it's just a matter of preference at this point in your case. Personally, I would go ahead and just get the 6 or 6 Plus, but would understand if you prefer to wait for an iPhone 7.

The main thing I see in the rumors is a dual lens camera which allows for optical zoom. If you take pictures enough to care then wait, if not, might as well upgrade if the company's paying for it. Considering you're upgrading from a 5 it doesn't seem like they force you to keep a phone long enough to worry about future proofing with a half generation newer model.

They do release new phones each year. The phone , then the S. Them the next gen. That keeps people on the two year provider contract schedule.

They had a recall for this issue. You can get it fixed for free.

They've released multiple phones the past 2 years. 2013: iPhone 5C and iPhone 5S. 2014: iPhone 6 and 6+. It's safe to assume they will continue this trend for the next few years.

I've decided I won't upgrade my iphone again until Mophie releases their Juice Packs for it. It's killed me not having one on my 6

No... Mophie makes a fantastic product and others I have seen are less in quality. Until Mophie makes a crappy product I will be loyal to them

Where do y'all use your phones so much that it goes dead and there isn't a way to charge them? I am around a way to charge my phone sometime during the day. I can see if you are out in the woods and stuff, but now you can charge your phone pretty much anywhere.

Different lifestyles/work environments I guess. Lots of apps and tips all over the web for conserving battery, ranging from basic to the most extreme (turn off everything so that your phone is about as useful as a nokia brick phone.) My Nexus 6 lasts 36+ hours with normal use, but I'm plugged in every night before bed, so I don't even bother with power saving. That stuff mostly comes in handy when you've had your phone for a couple of years and the "honeymoon period" for your battery has passed.

Get the 6. The 6S won't be out till Sep-Oct this year. That is usually when the new iPhones come out.

I travel quite a bit and rural areas with poor cell reception kill your battery very quickly
