Pelican 1750 and be done with it. It would survive a plane crash.

I bought a Boyt and it's a solid built case. You won't go wrong buying one.

TT,
It's hard to beat the Pelican. That's what I have, as well. Before buying anything, I'd also suggest you check the airlines web sites for their definition of "oversize." When I last flew w/ guns 6/12, my old rifle case fell into the airlines "oversize" category; for oversize luggage, they had an expensive fee, something $50-100 one way. It was cheaper to buy a new Pelican than to run the risk/money of the oversize fee. At the time, I found the best price on Amazon, w/ free shipping.

As stated already the Pelican 1750 is the way to go.

I own one it can handle a couple of long guns has wheels for easy handling at airports and such.

I ruined 2 gun cases trying to go the cheap route when traveling with firearms. Broke down and bought a Pelican and I haven't had an issue since.

I firmly believe if the plane i am in crashed and explodes on impact the black box and my pelican case will survive the crash...

Not that you need any more advice but another +1 for pelican. That's what I have as have flown with it before with two long guns in it

I have a pelican for 2 long guns, I haven’t flown much w/ it but it worked perfectly when I used it.

In a past job I used pelican cases to protect electronic gear to travel offshore in containers, they never let me down even when container was punctured and cases were floating inside …….. electronic gear was fine.
I also had good luck w dry boxes from americase

Pelican +1. They are pretty much bullet proof. Had one fall out boat, float off waterfall, and smash a rock bed with no damage to the case nor my equipment.
