Not sure how well he will do there, but having met Kubiak, I'm happy for him. He is about as nice as they come.

I dont get the hire at all. He wasnt bad in HOU, but i think his limitations were well known. He is just a vanilla coach, never saw a lot there.

They needed a safe pick to get a new flavor in Denver. They already feel they have most of the parts and this is most likely Manning's last shot next year.

They are going all in next year and don't want to make sweeping changes.

The NFL has become the NBA from about 10 years ago with Del Harris, George Karl, Larry Brown, Don Chaney, Doug Collins, etc.. There are about 36 people who are head coach material (according to them) and they just play musical chairs.

Solid hire for Denver. Fox was checked out and looking into other jobs the past few weeks.
That whole staff was having issues and all got cleaned out.
Good work Elway!

Not a fan.

I know he wasn't on anyones radar but a guy I wish they would of went after who would of meshed extremely well with Peyton and probably tipped things in his favor against retirement is Eric Mangini.

Love him. Always have. Ran the offense for both of Elways Superbowls. Shanahan hasn't been the same without him. Took a crap Houston team and made them relevant with Schaub at QB. Gave the Ravens their best offense ever.

enjoy poor assistant coach hires, embarassment on the big stage, and stubborn as a mule franchise leadership.
