I'M in Scott but also plan on stopping in laplace.

I think all the Laplace stores will be closed on Sunday. Might try Don's Country Store in Reserve. It's a grocery store so it might be open. I don't think I've had their tasso, though.

Yeah, Dons in Reserve. Wayne Jacobs in Laplace but probably closed on Sunday.

Suprised Jacobs would be closed. Best stop and Billys in Scott were both open

Ok so Jacobs is closed but Wayne Jacobs is open. Never had anything from there.

Wayne Jacobs tasso is great, as is their andouille and hogshead cheese.

Poche's in Breaux Bridge. If Joey's on Bertrand is open (not likely) they use it on sandwiches, but you can sometimes buy it sliced by itself).

Just saw yesterday Poches has a new place at the Ambassoder Caffery exit in Lafayette. Right off the interstate in the at big arse warehouse.

I don't think Poche's boudin or cracklin is the best (although good), but their tasso is really delicious.

Breaux's Mart on Moss Street. I buy extra to eat it before I use it in my dishes.

Def agree with that statement, Tasso is real good, go to any place in Scott for boudin, especially Billy's pepper jack boudin egg rolls. But both Boutins locations also sell poches meats, they have a section right when you walk in.
