Looking at Mexico. Not sure about sandals because they're pretty expensive. Any suggestions for Mexico?

I would recommend Dominican Republic all-inclusives as opposed to Mexico. That's just me.

some nice places south of Cancun that aren't the typical touristy spring break type of places, some neat things to do around there too

You will get quite a bit of all-inclusives are a waste but I had a wonderful time at the one we stayed at on my honeymoon.

I only know about Cozumel and Playa but for my honeymoon, I stayed in the Bahamas.

I think its a great idea.

Really awesome all-inclusives and plane flights are gonna be somewhere between $5000-$7000.

You get past that and the place is gonna be out of control BA legit.

We went to Palm Island Resort in St. Vincent and the Grenadines and loved it.

I was looking at that one actually. It's awesome?? And it's only a 2.5 hour flight from DFW which is a big deal too. I don't want to spend 12 hours hopping planes

I thought Secrets Maroma was better, but Excellence is really good, too. Especially if you haven't done an all inclusive before.

The people watching at Atlantis is so amazing, I can't even begin to explain how awesome that was.

The stuff to do on that resort is pretty dang legit though.

I wouldn't do it for your honeymoon though.

However, if you do, keep your sunglasses on cause your head is gonna be spinning at all the thong bottom wearing Spanish and European women. Some are really attractive. So becareful with that

I don't think they are a "waste". I think they are a bit un-interesting generally speaking, and probably wouldn't choose that route, but to each his own.

Did you stay on site the whole time or did you venture out into cancun or playa del Carmen? Could you go scuba diving in Cozumel or something like that?
