If I recall correctly the Tiger defense was #1 in the SEC. True it's good to have this hire out of the way, and I'm excited about the hire. When are the offensive changes coming? Offense was the problem not the defense.

Common misconception. Defense alone lost more than a handful of games over the past couple years.

Thank you for your sage advice. I'm sure no one on this board has thought about the offense in the past 12 hours or so. They certainly needed a reminder.

for the entire season we were #1 in yards given up. whoopee! our TOP lends itself to those kind of numbers. but I guess you didn't see the MSU or Auburn games; how about the Notre Dame game. our defense couldn't stop shite. we were not the BEST defense in the league even if we were the so called #1. and I have to say the SEC had the worst defense en total of any year I can remember. no, my friend, our defense was not good this past year nor has it been for about 2 years. agreed our offense sucked but when our offense did good our D stank it up. our O played plenty good to beat notre dame.

the defense was equally culpable for the Auburn fiasco.

And probably more culpable for the Notre Dame breakdown (although that was more on chavis being a dick and not coaching)

NOt to mention Miss St.

It is amazing how an entire fanbase seems to have forgotten the last 7 months. Cameron, Les and Jennings will still be leading the offensive charge, don't understand how we will be better.

When does telling the truth make you a downer? I'm sorry I'm not jumping up and down, but I will when the offense is a top 50 offense. That's not asking much.

Defense was not number one in conference games. Stats got heavily Ladd by the OOC games this year. But thanks for being negative.

Both sides had their problems. Defense late in games, couldn't make the move to get the right MLB in some of those early games...etc. Offense, esp. QB is the biggest, but the whole team gets the loss...

No argument there. Whole team needs to make improvements this offseason. I'm confident they will.
