Lots of reasons actually

His Mom has made some trashy comments. His gamemanship on big points has been questioned a lot... Takes a long time and shite. And a lot of players dislike him as well. Been disrespectful and what not. And he's a whiner and has his fair share of tantrums. He just rubs people the wrong way. I mean his Serbian teammates at the Olympics and what not don't really like him.

But a lot of that happened when he became #1 for the first time a few years ago. He's gotten better.

But don't get me wrong, he is an amazing tennis player. No doubt about that. And I don't like or dislike him or anything like that. But I can see how he rubs people the wrong way and stuff. Amazing player though.

We should have a year-long tennis thread. I know there's a lot of weeks with multiple crappy ATP Tour 250 events, but there's still a lot of good players playing in those.

Plus, it would help guys like me follow the sport better.

Thinking about just taking the over 3.5 sets.

Thanks for listing the reasons. Like i said i stopped watching tennis some years ago but now and then i have tuned in for a big match. I dont know anything about the players off court actions. The only reason i like Djokovic was because in several matches back then he would give Federer a hell of a game and even beat him. Im not sure exactly why didnt like Federer. Probably some if it was him taking over after Sampras and the media hype he got, even if it was deserved. Some of it due to his meek nature. But i think a lot of it had to do with his gf as well. They would always cut to her in the stands and she just looked county to me. Who knows maybe she is a great person. Its sports so most of the people i pull for and hate on is just fun not really personal. (Except Nick Fairly because he is straight trash.)

I think this is part of why I don't like him either. So much talk about "greatest ever" but he didn't have the best competition. Not his fault and he was a dominant player, but the field is filled with unreal competition now. And obviously the competition was strong before Fed came along as well.

I was suprised by that ace right after the one he threw up and let drop. It didnt seem to be hit that hard.

Murray looks phenomenal.
