#9- Ham, capacola, hard salami, provolone, dressed, oil, vinegar, oregano, salt and pepper. Toasted.

Split a 14", two bottles of water, under 12 bucks.

I haven't been in a couple years and just happened to cut down Chimes street and illegally parked in front. I forgot how good it is and how cheap. If there is a better sub sandwich in BR I need someone to tell me because that one is right up there with damn good. It's capital T for tasty.

When they put oil it's a tad too much for me. But yes very good

I like more oil, less vinegar. And I'm a fan of oregano on a sub.

I also didn't think I'd be long enough for Riverside. But yes frick them.

Used to get that sandwich all the time...was always good. And yes, toasted is the way to go...

Now I want Inga's

AM Mart's Cajun Turkey makes it move.

Blah.

I'm so not an AM Mart person.

Although I am mostly against buying those types of sandwiches out, I do agree with OP that Ingas can be pretty solid.

Maybe worth the money but that doesn't sound that cheap to me.

Love me some Ingas. Was like 5 min walking distance from my dorm freshman year in 08. Used to go almost weekly.

The same sub at AM Mart is only $6 and it's just as good. The only difference is that Inga's offers a few more toppings like oil & vinegar or cooked onions.

Is this an Inga's vs. AM Mart thread now?

Because AM Mart might be the most overrated thing in Baton Rouge.

Inga's was my go to in college. Their sandwiches blow AM Mart away imo.

So a 7" fresh made sub and a 16 ounce bottle of water for under $6.00 isn't cheap?

Dear lord you need to get a new job or just let me buy you lunch.

And I tossed $4.00 in the tip jug because of the girls smile and she smelled like lilac. Or maybe vegetable soup but nevertheless she smelled good.

I really think AM has the following because people think they are supposed to say it's the best. It's shitty processed meat that doesn't compare to anything from a place like Ingas

Yep. I've said before that I can go into Winn Dixie, buy shite, and make an AM Mart sandwich from my car, but the counter argument here was that it wouldn't be made with "AM Mart love"
