I will be in Baton Rouge tomorrow. Any suggestions on a great local restaurants in the area. Not interested in a chain rest. and willing to pay a higher price for good quality service and food.

I would add Mansur's to the high end list. The chargrilled oysters alone make it worth a visit. I'd go to Galatoire's or Mansur's if I didn't eat in BR often.

Ask for their amazing made in house pot roast. Recipe has been passed down for generations.
