Watching this game, after watching our bowl in person, it seems as though we are light years away from playing on this stage, at this level.

That said, three years ago we were here.

Moreover, we have talent equal to these teams.

What do you think?

They had 8 wins.

Need at least 12 to win NC.

8/12 = 66.6%

100-66 = 33.3%

33.3% of a football team away.

Obviously QB.

LSU also needs a lot more production from the Dline than they've gotten the past two years to win championships.

After 2002, I didn't think LSU was that close to a NC either

About 50 seconds and a bullshite personal foul away..

Even in this down year, I think the bama loss was all that separated us from the playoffs.
I think we crush Arkansas if we win that game.
Finish with a SEC W championship and possible shot at the playoffs.

Don't think we would've won it all, but getting over that hump (against bama) will be huge for LSU.

A competent QB will certainly help as well.

4 seasons ago? That's how you evaluate the level of the current team?

Living in South Florida and the Cam Cameron debacle as head coach for the Dolphins, I can say yes we need a qb, but our OC is not championship quality.

Meh. TCU and Oregon were stacked on offense this year. No one rivaled their consistency this year. We lack a complete offense. So we're two years away minimum. AJ won't get it done next year and I don't think even if BH starts he can lead the team all the way through the SEC in his first year.
