Boom is terrible, but I don't really respond to him much anymore unless it's directly related to Pels/rockets. That being said, just because he's an effective troll doesn't mean the board wouldn't be better without him. It'd be great if some posters had better self control but boom is still the root cause.

The problem with boom is that he has no ability to modulate himself. He shows up waaaayyyy too much and instigates crap. I certainly don't mind contrary opinions, but to continually flame away on an opposing team's board is silly.

That was a bad example, as it happens all the time. And the Saints Falcons rivalry and fan vitriol is way worse than Rockets Pelicans.

Derail multiple threads and piss every one of the regulars on a board of for an entire season? No admin gives a shite. And they probably shouldn't. There are a few known trolls, but strict regulation would be just as bad or the board. Just quit feeding them.
There is some admin lurking on Saints Talk, as Ice will occasionally drop by and nail someone in epic fashion, but mostly you just have to deal with the trolls.

So what are the options Fred? Banning seems a bit extreme but we've tried both "Don't Feed The Troll" campaigns and asking Boom to just ignore stuff.
