My .02:

Arkansas: Up and coming, good coach

Auburn: Up and coming. Two good coaches on both sides of the ball

Alabama: Up and stayin up.
Good coaching top recruiting
classes.

Ole miss: Declining. Ok coach but losing a lot.

Miss st: Declining. Ok coach but losing a lot and I think there great year has come and gone.

Texas A&M: Up and coming. Sumlin ok coach but returns a lot and chief hire helps on D. I think they are still a year away though.

LSU: ???
Honestly I will say decline but if qb play steps up and D coord is legit this switches to up and coming. So many many unanswered questions. NFL talent all over though.

Your thoughts on the future in the SEC WEST?

Bama-good as long has Saban will be there.

Moo State- will come back to earth.

OM-who knows. Freeve hadn't proven anything yet.

A&m-same as OM. Sumlin has proven nothing

Arkansas-Bielema won't sneak up on anyone. We shall see.

LSU-Miles gets the benefit of the doubt since he has turned the program around before.

Auburn-similar to LSU. Will have top flight years and then rebuilding years.

Honestly nobody knows. The outcome of football games depend on how the teams perform on a given day.

Arkansas: Still not sure they are for real; need to see more; think they will be better next year though

Auburn: Will be better next year; Muschamp upgrade, Malzahn O rolls

Alabama: Usual domination

Ole Miss: Slight decline, may be a hiccup on an overall upward trend

Miss St: Steady, similar next year but not as good; may be on a slight overall downward trend

Texas A&M: Upward trend; Chavis upgrade; talent depth growing; will be force in 2 years

LSU: Who the frick knows? We are all over the map right now; offense and defense are huge ? marks; a lot rides on this DC hire and our ability to develop a QB; get one right, one wrong, more of the same; get both right, upward trend and we will be force again; get both wrong, wheels come off.

This is what I am talking about. Your projection for LSU is based on the last 3 years but one QB change could produce different results.

I'm not buying. They lose a shite load. they lose the amount of players LSU has lost, we will see how good malzahn is. Next year could be ugly for auburn. Even though I think they got a good qb in JJ. We shall see.

Auburn hasn't won in baton rouge since before saban was coach.

It's all about development. Miss St took a bunch of 2-3 stars and was ranked #1 in the country for most of the year.

Here's my .02.

Alabama will be good as long as Saban is the coach. They may have a "down year" every once in awhile such as 8-9 wins, but it's a premiere program. Bring in a 5 star QB pocket passer who will be competing from day one.

Arkansas is trending upwarded. Bert is bringing in great talent and making the best of what he has. They are everyone's dark horse next year. If they find a QB, they'll be dominant next year.

Auburn is plateauing in my mind. They lose a ton of talent after this year, but have a great QB in Jeremy Johnson. If Will Muschamp can fix that defense they'll be okay.

Miss St will lose a ton, haven't even been all that impressed with Dak to be honest. This year will help them in recruiting, but they'll be a couple of years away from competing. Trending down from this year.

Ole Miss has a star studded class that will all be juniors next year. Only downside is they have no QB, Kincade can't throw, Buchannan can't move, and Swag Kelly is a thug. Lack a running game and. QB. Expect 8-4 next year.

A&M is in the same boat as Auburn in that they have no defense. Offense can't win them every game. The addition of John Chavis will benefit them in the long run once he can mold the defense. They won't break the bubble till defense arrives, but it's coming. They'll haul in a solid recruiting class.

LSU is in the same boat as Alabama and Arkansas next year. All three of these programs are completed loaded. LSU has a lot of question marks in places others don't. We're still missing a DC. It won't hinder next year too much. LSU's whole season rides on being able to find a QB that can hit a 5 yard flat pass. If they can get a Jarett Lee senior season QB who can pass for 200 yards a game, they'll be in the hunt. Another solid recruiting class that has some gems in it. Will finish in the top 5 in recruiting again.

I'm not too worried about the DC. We'll bring in someone who matches the scheme. Our defense will remain dominant as long as the offense can do it's job. Our defense would have been even better if we could just put points on the board and not go three and out. I fully expect LSU to win 10+ games next year. Easy non conference slate. Let's do this.

Bama - will stay up as long as Saban is there

Auburn - on the rise and even just a decent rush defense will do for them. Have recruiting locked in on both sides.

LSU - wildcard. Depending on DC hire, 2016 class, and if Cam can develop Harris. Even though I hated Chavis' late game giveaways, a good enough passing game with our typical defensive effort, wins us 10 regular season games a year.

TAMU - On the rise. Recruiting won't fall off as long as Sumlin is there, and they will get a little better with Chavis on defense. they could be a 10 win team a few years and also challenge for the West in 2016.

Arkansas - they are on the come up. He will have this school like Wisconsin south in a minute. I don't see them winning the west anytime soon, but 8-9 regular season wins are a true possibility.

Ole Miss - while they aren't on decline, the won't be getting any better. They won't release Chad Kelly, so they will be good to go next year, however they lose a lot on both sides after 2015. IMO, they'll go back to the 7-8 win team they were.

MSU - they are another wildcard. Sure they will take a huge drop the next two years, but this class they have now, could make a big splash if they get the right QB to man the base.

While the West was overrated this year, I can't find a division with more recruiting power, HC power, more talent, or. brighter future. It's a lot of parity, and at least four teams will consistently be top 15 teams in the country.

Arkansas: They have definitely improved, but I am not sure how much. Will believe after they win a few SEC away games.

Auburn: I am optimistic, favorable schedule, but the offense will need to be retooled and the defense is a black hole of mediocrity. Longterm Auburn can contend, but still see us as a every 2-3 years contention type of thing for SEC.

Alabama: Agreed on all points, but QB is an issue as well as I think they will miss Yeldon. Longterm, I would say they remain at top for several more years.

Ole miss: I have no feel at all for this team. Know they have recruited well, but no certain qb and no (imo) running game make it a hard road for them. Long term I think they are on the upswing.

Miss st: Declining. Even if Phil Steele's graph on returners is not correct, this team loses a lot. Combine that with the fact they have to coach up talent, I could see a painful 2-3 years.

Texas A&M: Better next year. Better until Sumlin bolts.

LSU:

I really think LSU is at a crossroads, but the choice is being good or great. Amazing running game. Great D (every team has a bad game or two) Solid recuits --- great home atmosphere. Assuming you get a reasonably good DC, all this team really needs is a good quarterback.

it's not hard to improve when you only had 2 SEC wins in the last 2 seasons

Auburn may start to compete with Bama every year with Muschamp as DC.

yep

they won't be good next year, but will improve. I'm not convinced Sumlin is a good coach. They had a heisman winner and a first round QB and they still didn't make a BCS bowl and had a combined 6 SEC losses in 2 seasons. aTm has limited talent on D it will take a couple years for their D to become top notch.

LSU: Coming up. No way in hell qb play does not improve. Talent comparable to Bama.

Bama: About the same. Will continue to compete for titles.

Auburn: Improving and will be in the mix. Has more talant than people think.

Ole Miss: Even to maybe down a bit. Another 8 wins or so.

State: Trending down. Will not win 9 or 10 again in the near future.

Arkansas: What if bert had the OL and RB's that bama or lsu have?

A&M: Hard to say but I do not see them being much better than last year.

The west will be even harder to win next year.

A&m will be the exact same they have been.

They actually had a good dc, they just won't have good D given their hc and players. Too soft.
