Shoop has consistent success wherever he lands. Same goes for CP. Stoops sucks, hope it's a courtesy interview.

What makes CP more attractive for me is Ed O. Monster Recruiter! Now,if either can pull O then I would be fine either way

That's the thing though..I think we get Coach O regardless...but I will be happy as heck with either CP or Shoop to go with him.

Small school pedigree with the exception of Penn St. I think it is a risky move. He was my 1a choice before I looked at where he has coached. I am actually thinking Stoops may be a better choice. Less on the upside potential but he would be a solid DC.

Shoop and PSU held Ohio State to 17 in regulation this year after they started their reign of terror. He's was really good at Vandy too.

And 293 total yards. Would love this hire.

He's not a "splash," but I think he'd be a very solid hire. I'd be very happy with him, and I know that's very I important to the staff.

I don't see the reason he would come here. Smells like he's fishing for a pay raise from Penn st. He's basically a hometown guy there and will get a head coaching job soon if that's what he wants with what he's doing now we're he is.
