Finally got around to watching Guardians of the Galaxy

What a great movie. It was really good, and I have seen multiple threads on here recommending it so thank you 
I would rank it up there with The Avengers and Captain America: Winter Soldier. Definitely top 3 Marvel. I don't have any complaints. Thanos is going to be a beast. How do you guys think they tie these guys in with the Civil War story line and upcoming Avengers films? Do they come in with Avengers 3?

I got it for Christmas today and broke in my new receiver and speakers by watching it.

Finished watching it just now and it was fantastic. I Had been wanting to see it just was waiting for the right moment. Reminded me of the first Star Wars, great humor but not over the top. Great character development and the story was good enough to keep u on your toes. Also set up for future movies with already established villains.

I thought it was a good movie. Prolly comes in at 3 or 4 in Marvel movies for me. My top movie is prolly Winter Soldier. Just too good to me.

I loved it but I liked CA:WS better. I like the type of comics that are a bit darker.

I guess I am the only one that hated this incredibly unfunny movie with its unlikable protagonists that lack any obvious exceptional ability.

On the contrary, I love most popular movies. I am generally not a movie snob. I've thoroughly enjoyed every Marvel movie to date before this one. I was just bored out of my mind in Guardians of the Galaxy and really dislike the "anti-hero" trope.

I meant Marvel studios. Spiderman 3 was Sony, not Marvel studios. I hated Spiderman 3 as well as The Amazing Spiderman 2. Ironman 3 was my least favorite Marvel studios movie, but I enjoyed it more than Guardians, that is for sure.

Saw it at an Alamo Drafthouse on opening Day. Before the movie they were showing clips of Chris Pratt being funny, random racoon YouTube clips, some Marvel animation introducing the GotG, etc. Set the mood for the film, enjoyed it thoroughly
