I agree, I would say belief is similar to suspicion, as further evidence is added, it really changes from belief to faith, not only faith in God, but whatever it is.

It's hardly a secret that if you are raised by, and spend nearly all of your time with a particular race, hearing all the negative, and positive things said about a different race, your judgment is going to be skewed, and I don't mean you personally Lee.

That why it isn't good to judge, not because it's morally wrong, but no one has the evidence or the ability to judge accurately.

Add the fact that you can give or take but from yourself, because there is no one else in reality. This is the basis for Karma.

We would like to think we are separate, but think all we want it isn't true. Ego's are different, but spawned from the same error.

What most people don't know is that the "me" they think they are is a very tiny sick, deluded, selfish, insane part of the mind that dreamed up this whole world.

The True self, the True Mind doesn't have random, hateful, fearful thoughts, it doesn't attack others. it has 1 thought, and that is Love. This is the only real part, and it is connected to everything and everyONE.

People are actually still spouting these bullshite "studies." Never get your science from religious folk unless you want a cool zombie story or some other fairy tale.

None of it matters, all part of 1 big illusion, we can't change who and what we are by belief or non belief, all is well.

I am not religious, not that theirs anything wrong with that, Lol, but what I am saying that this dude God has Every ones back, Every single 1.

He is often misunderstood, but you can't mess up, you can't get it wrong. Not if you are Hitler, Bin Laden, a rapist, the list could go on and on. All roads lead to who you are in Him, we can delay, we can crucify ourselves, suffer, whatever, but we can't be separate from Him. he covered all of the bases.

For Atheist apparently it is not as warm under the dragon's wing as they thought it was.

Just because you do not believe in Satan will not protect you from him.

What makes atheists on the low end of the spectrum is one simple analogy:

If I (as a believer) am wrong, oh well.

If the atheist is wrong, he's fricked.....

Seriously, I typically sense a notable bitterness with them as well as a strong condescension. They are angry because they are frustrated.

From another site:

quote:

Whether or not you believe in God, you should live your life with love, kindness, compassion, mercy and tolerance while trying to make the world a better place. If there is no God, you have lost nothing and will have made a positive impact on those around you. If there is a benevolent God, you will be judged on your merits and not just on whether or not you ignored the lack of evidence of his/her existence and blindly believed.

Pascal's wager is intellectually dishonest. There aren't only two options. There are innumerable options. You could believe in God but believe in the wrong one. There might be a heaven type place that only atheists get into. If you are trying to save your arse you are going about it in a very poor way.

Poor logic. I'm guessing that if God does exist, he wants a better expression of "belief" then "I'm covering my arse and hedging my bets so sure I'll go along with the concept of your existence"

Otherwise, you believe that one gets rewarded for effectively paying lip service to His existence and doesn't care about a non believer practicing His values and that seems kind of whack.

If He does exist, it's probably a little more involved then proclaiming "I believe in you...see you in 70 years or so, dude!"

You don't sense anything. You just like to think you do.
