I don't expect to be greeted by a benevolent God, I believe in Cthulhu. But I'm not an atheist so I'm still okay.

I'm going to go with "yes."

The "religious fog" perpetuated heavily by Southern Baptists and Catholicism turns a lot of people off for life. Turned me off for a long time. I will never throw my beliefs in other people's faces. I love everyone except for Satan, Paige and the Alabama football program.

Not really, its what the bible says and Christians I know believe it to be true. The ONLY way to be saved is to accept Jesus. If I am wrong please let me know.
To correct someone is an ego function. Jesus said the Kingdom of Heaven is within you. I believe he meant the Kingdom of Heaven is you. You can't escape it, pain is in traveling down any road that goes away from what you are.

This.
With that, comes the expectation you don't overtly press your atheism on me.
Despite popular belief on both sides, there is neither intellectual nor moral superiority on the basis of belief vs. non-belief.

One side relies on evidence. The other side relies on magic. No difference, really?

yes, enlightenment is an extreme burden but it's my cross to bear

Yes. The scientific community has some pretty hard evidence of how earth was created. A belief in science is not mutually exclusive to religion.
