Please do tell what so funny...

2013 offense averaged 35.8 ppg and 453 yards per game. Your quarterback threw for over 3000 yards and the rushed the ball for over 2600 yards. So what about last years offense would Gruden have improved?

Oh wait let me guess: the qb throws for over 4000
rbs rush for over 3500 and both receivers go for over 1500. Then LSU goes undefeated and wins it all. Yep seems logical...

Gruden would do better than miles when it comes to offense. Nothing really earth shattering there

Personally having attended last years Georgia and Alabama games I can attest this was not the case.

While averaging 7 losses a year.
Nothing really earth shattering here.

Jesus freaking Christ, what lack of production? The offense had a 3,000 yard passer, a 1,000 yard runner and 2 1,000 yard receivers. As I recall, the first time that happened in the history of the SEC. Lost 3 games: No defense at Georgia, Mett picks at Ole Miss, and Bama on the road. There was no swipe by Gruden, and no lack of offensive production. This has been said 1,000 times today.

Not to mention the RKansas game last year.

can say that again. The offense shines one year with 4 awesome NFL rookies and this place wants to shite on the defense...the one unit that year in year out usually makes this team. Hell we may not of had so many defensive players leave early if they had any faith that the offense would be capable of taking some of the pressure off them and contend for a title.

Gruden's comment on MNF about offensive talent at LSUAm I the only one who saw it as a not so tangential swipe at CLM and his lack of production on offense.

You heard what you wanted to hear.

Not sure where you are going with this but since we are specifically talking about last year, defense let the team down more than the offense. Not sure why that upsets you to talk about.

He said this?

What he said is that lsu had some good talent and he would enjoy coaching them.

You definitely heard what you want.

Lsu has some retarded fricking people in the fan base.

So the defense threw those 3 interceptions @ Ole Miss last year? That's news to me...

I suppose John Chavis should have taught Mettenberger to look off that safety better. I'm sure that's his responsibility. Nice job, Rantard.

Terrible defense (according to some on here) gave up 27 to Ole Miss who has a great offense.

Our vaunted offense scored 24 against an Ole Miss defense missing a ton of starters.

What games did our defense let us down? At UGA and Bama?

Who fared better against A&M? Offense or defense?

All three of those games were on the road also.
