You can't prove a negative. And the burden of proof is on you. You are the one making the claim about a SkyDaddy. Not atheists.

And that would be perfectly acceptable Boosie.

God exists in the same way Krishna , Allah and Charlie sheen exists.

In (and only in) the mind of their faithful.

Apparently you haven't read the thread or many post?

He said his atheism is based on verifiable facts. And since atheism is the belief that there is no God, I'm waiting for him to produce these facts that back up his assertion.

Not much of an admission actually. We don't know. That's a concept foundational to faith.

And is miles away from any point I may make about the existence of God.

God distinctly tells us He is observable. Romans 8:20 For the invisible things of Him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:

It is what you attribute everything you see that determines your belief. I walk out and look at this world we live in and admittedly not knowing how everything works in harmony and choose to believe there is a Creator that set it up that way. Some choose not to. But to me God is very observable.

No . . . . so let's try this yet again . . . . Lay out your hypothesis of the origin of matter.

You know, I dated a woman when i was younger and I was smitten with her. And I was convinced her not calling me was her signal to me that she cared.

Just because I think it doesn't make it true.

Same as religion.

I find it curious that I've sided with the atheists for much of this thread, while defending a belief in God, and they haven't asked me once why I believe in God despite my acknowledgement that science doesn't and can't prove God.

Why do you?

And the faithful go a step further and make an affirmtive declaration that there is. And the athesits go a step further and make an affirmative declaration that there isn't.

Why do we have to make the affirmative declaration either way?

Morality, and the Prime Mover.

Morality is the much larger of the two.

Atheists don't have to. Christians, Muslims and Jews do. You can't really be a Christian and not be sure that there's a God.

Not true, at least not all atheists.

An agnostic atheist doesn't make an affirmative declaration. He says he can't know if there's a god, but doesn't believe in one because there is a lack of evidence for one.

Aheists make the affirmative declaration that there is no god.

Agnostics are the only ones who don't make an affirmative declaration.

I should have worded that differently. Atheists don't have to be Atheists. Christians have to be Christians.

One can safely stay in the agnostic camp, the other cannot.

Agnostic and atheist are not mutually exclusive. Neither are agnostic and theist. Refer to chart.

I saw that chart earlier, and disagree with the "does not believe/ believes" binary proposition.

Where is the "I don't know" option?

It has everything to do with science, as you claim does atheism.

But by all means, let's not make it about atheism. Let's make it about you.

. . . . Lay out your hypothesis of the origin of matter.
