Considering the age of some of the players.

Brees, Evans, Strief, Thomas, Colston and the salaries coupled with the salary cap situations. Is it time to blow the team up? Dump players and salaries and basically make 2015 a sacrificial season to clear cap space. Then start rebuilding in 2016?

Colston will definitely restructure. I don't know if Grubbs or Evans will, but i definitely think we get rid of one of them.

Clearly CLM has lost control of this team.

I think we can expect to see a lot of new names on next years roster and some familiar ones gone.

It's time for someone to kick Payton in the balls. He needs to quit partying and kick some arse.

I don't see much tread left on the current set of tires, and we're paying way too much for all of them. Draft a franchise QB (with our #1 pick next year) and starting signing young linemen and DBs. Build it back a step at a time.
If the HC isn't on board, find a new one.

The way this team is setup at qb and the cap, they aren't doing a true rebuild until Brees retires. It doesn't make sense.

Brees is still a top 5 QB when he gets protection. I think our defense is better than any of the stats indicate - our CB's got way better late in the season and we'll (presumably) get Byrd and Bush back. We have a lot of affordable offensive options in Stills, a re-done Colston, our younger backs, Cooks, the backup TE's, etc.

The only player I want restructuring is Brees. Hopefully Colston will take a paycut and maybe one of the guards will. Both guards will be coming back as we don't save much cutting them. Draft a LB or DL first pick and draft 2 interior OL with 2nd and 3rd pick. Let them sit a year or maybe one of them play. Draft Dline rest of draft and sign an avg to decent CB in FA. We've restructured enough, don't need to keep pushing more money back. Draft a QB in 2016 and let him sit and learn a couple years.
