I've got an MK. I don't think there's anything wrong with owning one? Although one of the pins broke after a couple of months. Might just be the type of strap it is though.

i would say at a bare minimum get an Omega.
If the budget allows, step your game up to an IWC.

I wear an MK watch. It was a gift. I wouldn't have chosen it for myself, but I like it.
