If LSU brings in a new starter? Is that a possibility?

Isn't there a rule about not posting every thought that comes in your head?

if jennings is the starter, then it does create a conflict. we wasted harris's redshirt this year for nothing, and if jennings continues to start, harris's career is basically done at LSU. at best he'll have 1 year starting if he doesn't redshirt next year or the year after. i duobt he does that, though.

One year starting is working out well for Blake Sims.

Not nearly the same thing.

If Jennings is the starter next year Harris is gone. This was always the case

redshirt Harris as a sophomore? If he redshirts as a sophomore, it won't be at LS

Agree, he will be gone before that happens and I wouldn't blame him. Too many other schools to play and start for. People are way too ahead of themselves. He matures physically, understands the offense, learns to be calm himself and a calming influence on his teammates, the job is his and it's not even close. We have no one to even bring in so I don't know where that thought is coming from.

Even if Jennings starts, he's one play away from being the starter. If he were to have gone to Auburn, he most likely never sees the field this season or next.

No player thinks this way. And frankly, they shouldn't if they care about their career

Playing behind one of the best Alabama QBs of all time

Meanwhile Harris gets to sit around watching one of our all time worst QBs

If your first statement is correct then no way your second statement could happen. But thanks for showing your ignorance on college football.

When did the red shirt rule change? That does not sound right. You can red shirt as a freshman if you only play a select number of downs (which is very few in the first half of the season). You can't get a red shirt unless it's medical after your freshman year. And if he transfers, unless it D2, he will have to sit out a year burning another year of eligibility.

McMillan certainly has potential but he's not close to being as good as Harris or even Jennings at this point. He's struggling against Katy in the state title game currently. Harris isn't going anywhere and could well wind up starting next season.

Jesus...this is the exact kind of thread (with replies) that gives the rant and our fanbase a bad name.

First, why in the fricking frick would you redshirt your backup QB (If he is indeed the backup, as in your scenario)?

Second, McMillan, who hasn't even signed yet, is jumping him on the depth chart?

Sons, I am disappoint

the way your moronic predictions work out means Harris starts the next three years at LSU and wins a Heisman the year after Buga
