beyond pissed at ahole rednecks. Couldve just been shot. Shooting from the road from their truck into the woods at an illegal deer towards me. I holler at them and they turn, run, get in their truck and leave.

Here's my coyote. I tossed him in a thicket further away from the stand since he stunk pretty bad.

I'm sending up thoughts and prayers right now!

Your SIL was a huge help to me when we did the pirogue build, especially since I just came out of surgery 4 days earlier and couldn't do much that was strenuous. He's a really good fella.

If it helps any, my BIL also had a brain bleed, along with many other critical injuries when he got in his motorcycle accident. He was touch and go for a while but pulled through and is back his old self now.

Back in the stand but different stand. Over looking a food plot bordering a thicket. 2 out of 3 cameras haven't been working but on the one I haven't seen any rut signs here in Washington parish. Shouldn't be long though

Fish I hate to hear that. Please keep us updated.

I had a decent hunt this am. Huge groups of birds landing just outside the decoys this am before legal shooting. When it was finally time we were overrun with merganzers and scaulp but still managed to shoot a few. Had I shot better we could have had a limit each. Not gonna head back to stand this evening but will hint again in am and then look for a buck or hog tomorrow afternoon.

Back at it this afternoon with my dad after killing a cow of a doe this morning. Letting him deer hunt behind me while I hog/trophy hunt

Went out this morning seen a 6 Pt a spike and 4-5 does. Go to the camp for lunch around 11 and my FIL is streadfast on how deer are moving mid day lately. So 5 of us get back on the stand for 1230 none of us have seen anything. Sounds about right.
