I said this a few years back, "It is cheaper to get drunk in Epcot than to stay hydrated in Disney World."

You are not wrong. Disney world is gay as hell and not fun. Why would a grown arse man want to have breakfast with Alladin?

Oh that's right, he wouldn't. Because Disney is for children.

I love when the cool kids show up in every Disney thread.

OP, it kind of sounds like you have your mind made up on something you've never even experienced. My word of advice is for you not to even go. You're just going to bring everyone down.

It will be more fun than you expect. You can drink everywhere but Magic Kingdom. Where are you staying. There are some great bars in the resort areas.

I have never been to Disney and have no desire to do so. If i had kids that wanted to go i would go but other than that fuk Disney. Im with you dude those themed breakfasts and dinners are not for me. You have no kids so i see your point completely.

I would see if the Magic are playing in town while you are there maybe catch a game. Hell go to Tampa and catch the Devil rays or go catch some horse racing at Tampa Bay Downs.

There's way more places to eat than "themed dinners". Some great food there if you know where to go.

im not big into disney at all but getting to experience that with my niece was awesome. my wife watched the one year old when we did stuff pregant woman couldnt do and she was fine with it. im sure your wife would love to see her niece and nephew experience disney for the first time so unless you are a miserable son of a bitch that cant enjoy life id suggest you go

Just go and enjoy the vacation. She should be able to do most things unless she's far along with the pregnancy. And y'all can go away for a day trip or two together. Ton of stuff to do all over South Florida. Rent a car and drive to Cape Canaveral and/or the beach for the day.

My wife and I went to DW this past year with her family when she was pregnant. I know she didn't have all that much fun because she didn't do much, but she nor I complained one bit.

Don't want to go on a mostly-paid-for trip to Disney?

Damn son.

Don't do it.

Just politely pass on the offer and saving work leave for the baby. Tell them when the baby gets older you can go as a family.

Your attitude towards the trip from your post makes me think you will be miserable on the trip. This will lead to fights with a very hormonal prego wife which she doesn't need.

I had a very bad cruise experience with my in laws with a similar situation. I am not a fan of cruises, but my wife talked me into going on a free one with them and I did it for her. A lot of little things went wrong in a hurry and led to a big fight.

Just don't put yourself in a situation that is going to potentially make you miserable and upset your in laws.

I am not gonna say that you are gonna just fall in love with the place, but I was reluctant to go as well....however, I found the place to be remarkably well done....

I really do think everyone should go once, if you can manage the expense...honestly, if you let yourself, I gaurantee you will enjoy the place...

My wife is currently 7 months pregnant. Before she got pregnant the FIL planned a trip to Disney for Christmas. Your situation is exactly like mine, down to the 2 kids. But we have Mrs. CHiPs brother coming with his 3 kids as well.

I am hoping that at her doctor visit this upcoming Thursday he tells her not to fly. That would be the only Christmas present that I would need this year.
