No.

Two years ago we got a small bonus (equal to about 2%) and a 4% raise. Last year we got zilch on both.

Organization has had a record year. 6% is nice, but considering the record year and nothing last year, its a little underwhelming.

I guess it depends on your base salary and what the cost of living is in your area. 6% probably exceeds the cost of living growth in most areas, so I'd imagine that's better than just a bonus....?

6% is pretty solid. Nothing to complain about.

the company I work for feels content giving 1% raises for the last 6 years. We are losing people left and right but they just don't seem to get it.

we post record profits every quarter.

Last year our company gave an undisclosed donation to the food bank in our name.

A few years ago, a friend of mine in sales made a company record sale. As a result, the company had the best year in its history.

His bonus? A box of Russell Stover chocolates (albeit, a big box)

He's now making big sales for another company.

Well, they will only start caring about it when they don't have a record profit.

At least you will be able to retire early from all the cash your daughter will be rolling in when she puts her liberal arts degree to use.

We went to a swanky nursing home yesterday to watch a Christmas program that a friend's family performed in. I told her that she was going to have to make enough money to put me there.
