Is there supposed to be a problem with the sign?

Seems like some pretty solid advice.

As for me, if there is hunting going on where I'll be walking...I won't be walking there.

Why would a hunter shoot at something without first identifying it?

Do you shoot at anything you see moving that is brown or white?

It was either that or go across the street where the signs say "KEEP OUT - BOMBING RANGE"

EDIT - Is there a bounty on feral hogs? Seems like the folks in the sign on the left could be "enticed" into solving the problem depicted on the sign to the right.

Obviously a hunter shouldn't be doing that.

However, I still don't see an issue with the sign or the advice/caution on it.

Lord knows if there was no sign, everyone would be up in arms about not being warned.

Yep. Basically means there are dumbasses out there who don't follow the 4 basic rules of gun safety. I have no problem with this.

Also look out for the Kisatche woodsmen. He appears at the edge of the woods once the last log is placed on the fire. It is said that he was killed by other woodsmen (not by hunters) for his boots and ax,which was used to crush his skull. Lots of campers have seen bloody foot prints the next morning near the campsite.

Just a heads up.

Because they are fricking idiots...much like yourself. There are millions of hunters that hit the woods every year. Only a handful of these accidents occur. Although, accident is used loosely. If you do not properly ID target and know what is behind it, you are being reckless and neglectful. Oftentimes, the victim was not the target. Failure to know what is beyond your target area can lead to tragic incidents as well. Thousands upon thousands more people are killed walking in the inner cities than are killed walking in the woods. And it is illegal to discharge a weapon in city limits btw. Idiots in cars kill far more than hunting weapons do.

Not mention, it is common fricking sense not to walk through woods, especially public land, without hunters orange during gun season. We don't even do it on private land. If you choose to defy common sense to prove a liberal point, I encourage you to exercise your rights. Please wear a light brown sweat suit and leave a white hanky hanging out the back pocket. You can make your point best by doing this on crowded public hunting areas.
