Who's been the NBA MVP so far?

AD, Harden, or Curry?
AD has been the best player but being on a below .500 team has to knock him down some.
Harden has almost single handedly kept the Rockets in the playoff hunt despite losing Dwight recently. He's leading the league in scoring too. In the past 4 weeks they've also lost to the Grizzlies, Lakers, Clippers, and Warriors.
And then there's Curry who's already having his most complete season of his career. 23 points a game to go along with 8 assists. Shooting 40% from three in leading the Warriors to an absurd 19-2 start.
I'll say Curry followed very, very closely by Harden.

AD is 4th at best.
Gasol, Curry, Harden are the top 3. Take your pick among those, 1/4 into the season is too early imo. Durant and Lebron will be in the mix at season's end. Lowry deserves mention too.

Harden
Dwight, Jones and Beverly have all missed half the season. He's leading the leading and scoring and has been clutch.

Harden ranks 3rd, behind Kobe & LeBron, in PPG in the clutch (last 5 mins, +/-5) at 5.0 & shoots 52% in those situations (best % of those 3)

Forgot about Gasol; he looks great.

Curry, Harden, AD, Gasol. Coming from a Pels fan. I can't award the mvp to a player on a team with a losing record honestly, otherwise I'd be all AD, he's played the best individually of the 4

I was just looking at his stats and saw an odd one. 2 years ago he played in 80 games and had 80 steals, last year he played in 59 games and had 59 steals, this year he has played in 21 games and has 21 steals....the dude is consistent!
ETA: in 2009 he also had 69 steals in 69 games

An MVP missing 65% of the games this year?
Seems legit.

No shame in being 4th place in this contest.

Curry is the frontrunner to win it since obviously it's slanted towards team success. MVP goes to the best player on the best team, unless they're tired of giving that player the award.
Howver AD and Harden are more valuable to their team's success IMO. GS would still be pretty good without Curry.

After watching that Houston - Sacramento game last night, Harden without a doubt is the current MVP. Dude took over the game when they were down 10, brought it to OT, and won the game.
