zero percent chance you make the bet that the Pels were a playoff team this year without being blinded by bias.

Objectively, as much as I want the Rockets to fail, Harden is not only the MVP to this point, he's the runaway MVP in my mind. I would honestly, and I'll get killed for saying this, put him in the top 3 players in the league and bump Durant out. Durant has always been a tad overrated in my mind (I'd still put him 4-5).

ETA: boom just quit while you're ahead. You want people to talk basketball with you or would you rather get into meaningless flame wars? Don't be an arse. Your fellow Rocket brethren can't even enjoy this thread chalk full of "Pelitards" admitting that Harden is MVP to this point without you derailing it.

lol not even the same thing. making a bet based on future events is not the same as giving your objective opinions of events that have already occurred. you are such an annoying little shite

I suggested he could jump into this tier before last season. It did not go well. Prayers sent.

If you're talking about a fully healthy Durant, you should get killed for that statement.

But obviously, he's ahead of KD on 2014-2015.

He ain't better than KD, but he's up there with Curry and Westbrook. I think Paul is the one I would slide down.

Based on how MVP works, Harden would win at this point. Davis has still had the better individual year.

I just honestly don't think KD (even healthy) could pull off what Harden is accomplishing right now in Houston.

The same KD who averaged 36/6/6 on 55% shooting over the span of a month or so couldn't do what Harden has done?

I don't care about stats. The Rockets are 17-5 missing half their team.

ETA: You're splitting hairs dude. He did that over a WHOLE month!?!?!? Wow. And it's not even that much better statistically than what Hardens doing. You're obviously just nit picking and taking what I said out of context. If Durant was the second best player in the world, he'd of done more with the ridiculous supporting casts he's had.

Ok

And the guy who went for 36/6/6 on 55% shooting certainly couldn't have done the same thing.

Is this real life?

Was he also playing league leading defensive win share ball over those 20 games? I doubt it. 2 sides of the court, and Harden is the ultimate 2 way player this year.
