What to get at Chimes on Highland?

going there before a basketball game with a friend, have not been in years, whats good? also any other spots we should check out close to campus?

my favorites are the blackened gator, red beans, and pork chops. They give you a ton of wings too for the wing appetizer.

All their soups are good. Boudin balls, cheese fries and wings for apps. I'm a fan of the fried club sandwich.

damn good club sandwich. good red beans. alligator app. boudin balls are nice. pork chops.

This guy just named my opinion of the best things on the menu.
Wings are great.
I'm also a huge fan of their spin dip because it's much different tasting than most.
And obviously a dozen raw. Can't imagine going and not getting them.

that is honestly the only thing i remember from there, the bread chips they give you for the spin dip are money

Yes. They expanded the bar and renovated it since you've been there last. Beer is overpriced though.

Where do you people get this? Not overpriced at all, especially considering most of them are 20oz beers. Pelican House and Bulldog are more expensive per ounce.
