Yeah, except prevent lots of kids and old people from going to the hospital. Damn that vaccine.

Have it now. I'll never skip the vaccine again though. Makes the flu feel like a cold. The year I skipped it I thought I was gonna die.

This year's shot is not going to help you with the strand of Flu currently all over Louisiana and Alabama. I have had it and still feel super tired and worn out after two weeks and the cough just won't go away.

Well technically it does. That's how vaccines work.

Nope. Got the shot when they made their rounds on campus, I think early October.

Only a matter of time. My
Son can home from day care with it Tuesday. He had the shot, so it appears like it has lessened the symptoms but he has it.

The CDC missed the mark this year, but the shot does reduce symptoms significantly. So, it is worth it.

ftr, my whole family has had it, but I escaped......for now. It's nailing Texas.

It's amazing the logic people use regarding the flu.

I didn't get the flu or it "felt like a cold" - Evidence of effectiveness of the shot. (Perhaps you wouldn't have gotten it anyway, maybe you actually had a cold).

I didn't get the flu despite no shot - The shot is pointless (or you were just lucky like most people are who don't get it)

I got the shot and still got the flu - It's the shots fault (or you just got the damn flu)

I didn't go to the hospital this year - The shot is doin work!

I have never received the shot and I have had the flu twice in my life, once when I was 16 and the last time when I was 22. Knock on wood, I'm 10 years without the flu and no shot.

I got a viral infection and now my 7 month old son has it along with my gf. While I'm fine now. Worthless flu shot.
