Cam's the one that terrifies me the most, because it's most likely. Make that hire, and we're in for years of misery.

Petrino next. He'd win more games, but is just an awful person.

I'd take him in a heartbeat. He's a scumbag, but the guy knows how to put together an Offense. If LSU could keep Chief + Petrino =

To the OP - Cameron would be the must lackluster by far.

Is there any doubt that Alleva, the Board of Supervisors and $TAF$ would manage to screw it up royally?
Be careful what you wish for.

This is not like the others. While he is definitely a piece of shite, he would fricking DOMINATE at LSU
What he did at arkansas is nothing short of amazing.

Of the legitimate (non-comical) responses from the thread, the huge, "NO's!!!" from me would have to be Tuberville, Nutt, and Petrino in that order. It really all depends on who's available after Les would makes his decision. Cameron would have to be considered just from a "stability" perspective. He conceivably could keep Chavis, Wilson, and other key staff in addition to hiring a top notch OC.

If we keep Ron Chavis, with the offensive personnel we have, Lane Kiffin would be a home run hire. Guy can recruit like crazy, has inside Bama info and is energetic. But he has to keep Chavis.
