Youngstown State (FCS – OH): Sources tell FootballScoop that Bo Pelini plans to accept the head coaching position at Youngstown State once it is formally offered. An announcement could come as early as tomorrow afternoon or Thursday we are told. Here is the story and what we are hearing regarding his assistants.

Why the frick didn't he sit back and wait awhile? He could easily get another decent FBS job. Weird.

What's Faux Pelini say?

Most likely the best way if he wants a head coaching job at a P5 school again. If he wins there he'll get another chance.

Probably could have easily gotten a premium DC gig, doubt his ego would allow him going back to a coordinator though

Pelini's getting mobbed up and building up his booster support for when the Ohio St. job opens back up.

Probably has a clause in his buyout that reduces what Nebraska owes him if he takes a DI head coach job.

I wonder how much he's making?

I would think he would make more as a coordinator at a big conference school.

Nebraska has to pay the difference so they just have to pay him more money.

I don't think it's the worst idea ever. Having Tressel there as a mentor of sorts would help Bo tremendously. And if he wins and does really well there, he'll get another D1 shot.

The Vindicator hasn't reported it yet, so may be a agent ploy but it probably will happen

He's from Mooney
He can build the fence
They pay 125k
They're upgrading
Has best tradition

The Valley is best in America for FCS
