Exodus looks horrible.

Change the thread to "The Imitation Game and Unbroken," and I will agree.

The Imitation Game has already released in some places, but it sounds like Christmas will be the wide release.

And I feel it's too "blasphemous" to remake the Ten Commandments.

Meh. Unbroken does look like it'll be good, though

The more I see of Exodus, the less excited I get

Unbroken is just not my type of movie.

Bale is a douchebag. I like actual religious people to play religious roles because they understand the significance. Jim Caviezel was awesome in the Passion. Bale was quoted as saying Moses was a schizophrenic. What a joke.

Heard unbroken wasnt too good. It wasn't bad but there was something emotionally lacking. I'm going to see exodus because I can see it for free but I have no desire to see either.

I'll see exodus, but I'm looking forward to the films coming in 2015 a lot more than those.

I think I'd like to be stoned for exodus.

Unbroken is a fantastic story and book.

From the previews, I was a little disappointed in the casting. Could sense some over-acting and everyone is a baby-faced pretty boy including the Bird. These guys were hardened, leather-faced products of the depression and years of war.

As someone with an almost overly religious upbringing, I'm actually curious to see the Exodus story depicted by secular folks with different eyes, rather than trying to remake Ten Commandments.

That's not always true. Robert Powell played Jesus Christ in the Jesus of Nazareth TV miniseries from the 1970s and he was an atheist if I recall correctly. He gave what I still consider to be the definitive portrayal of Christ.

Jesus of Nazareth
