With our conference rival winning everything and our going .500 in conference play, how much longer will the most talented kids come to LSU? Honestly.

It's not like Bama winning is a new thing. LSU is still signing great recruits.

I was under the impression that LSU recruits itself.

Soon we'll be stuck with second rate Louisiana talent like Dak and Josh Robinson.

If you were a big time high school QB, would you want to come and play for les miles? I wouldn't even consider playing for him.

That's what I'm thinking also. Unless some of the other best schools didn't offer, why would any of the best kids come?

Record doesnt seem to have that much effect on in state players. You grew up watching LSU or not. LSU is losing some players that were never LSU fans. Its certainly not because LSU doesnt put players in the NFL. LSU leads the nation in players in the pros. How do teams like Ole Miss and Miss st., TCU ,Baylor have good recruiting years its certainly not past records. LSU was 1 play several times or 1 call, from beating Bama, the kids know this. Miles is a good recruiter the HS players know LSU is loaded. I dont see a recruiting problem. But yea we lost a few that really could have helped, but they will never be able to return home as LSU players. That will mean a lot down the road. Like Collins whinning about his treatment when he comes home from bama. What does he expect, he turned his back on his own mother. I bet it was interesting at the Thanksgiving table.LSU recruting reankings go up and down based on how good the La. high school talent is in any particular year also. I know Im Mr. obvious, but LSU will continue to recruit good, we just cant loose as many players as we did the last few years(we still had outstanding classes though). The jrs leaving so early has to levelout, they must realise its a gamble ,some stayed and got rewarded by bigger contracts , some left early and are doing great, others NEVER got drafted. I wish the NCAA could have insurance policies for the players that want to stay. As for the as long as Miles is here we will not sign any good recruits, statement . Last year the # 1 overall player in the nation, the #1 & 3 recievers, the #3 dual purpose QB,in the country, etc. , the list is stacked. We are signing very good players

He sure was whinning about his treatment when he returns home. You think he wouldnt have done just as good at LSU ,ask Patterson & Honey Badger,Claibourne ,Im not going to list thirty something players. You think Collins would have been a flop at LSU ,you get real . This is reality. LSU PUTS MORE PLAYERS IN THE NFL THAN BAMA in fact, more than anyone.

I was referring to there wining another SEC Championship today and heading to the playoffs with a good shot at winning a natty. He could not have done that at LSU this year, last year and likely next year. For that matter when could he have expected to? Never. So I ask again, do you think he regrets his recession? Hell no!
