What is your budget? I know of a GOOD field trial breeding that a buyer just backed out on. NFC stud x QAA bitch. $2750 u would need to call on it today if you want him.

I second Clay. Hunted with him for a while and he has great dogs. He is also a great trainer.

I bought a started dog from him this summer. Really happy with the pup. I'll send him back to Clay in February to fix what I've screwed up and press for a title or two.
And from what I've seen, his dogs are excellent stock. Guys, if you have not considered British Labs, you need to. I've hunted them for going on 16 years now, and when my American "yard dog/heart patient" dies, I will not have another.
