So, now that I have moved to Naples, FL, I have leared some things from my NE coworkers.
Apparently, in NJ, all gas stations are full service. Like you don't even have the option to pump your own gas and you are not expected to tip. The last full service station I remember was the Exxon at Evangeline and Plank back in the mid 80's.
CSB Just thought it was interesting.

Yep, I had to get gas in New Jersey once, as soon as I got out to grab the pump the attendant came running out. It was awesome, mostly cause it was 15 degrees and snowing a bit.

Caught me off guard too when I started going to NJ for work. Good to know those unions are still going strong up there to put all those Arabs to work.

Knew this thread was about NJ before I clicked the link. Went for a friends wedding, stopped for gas near the church and pumped my own. Dude literally yelled at me.

Guess that's a way to lower the unemployment rate a bit (?)

There is one of the gas stations along the Turnpike that has a midget gas pumper guy.

And I have lived in a hotel for 21 days and now I am in my condo sleeping on an air mattress, studying for the CPA because my shite won't be here for another 5 days. Maybe I am the grumpy one! And no internet yet, so I am on my damn phone. Thank god it is 80 degrees everyday! Sorry I called you out.
