What are you looking for? Noise cancellation, best audio quality, no sound leak, etc?
Sennheisers, Audio Technica, AKG, are where I'd start. Bose is tops at noise cancellation, but not anything else.

I had the on-ear version of these and the sound was fantastic. I had to return them because they made my ears hurt after a bit. I'd like to think that the over ear version would be more comfortable though.

Glad you like them. They're very tough to beat without getting into something that's either open-ear or requires some sort of headphone amp.
