With the size advantage UNC has, they should be embarrassed by the number of offensive rebounds they have given up to Butler

Roy's the most overrated coach in college basketball history. His two jobs have been at KU and North Carolina, two of the best programs ever. He didn't rise through the ranks like a John Calipari, Bo Ryan or Bill Self.

He won 2 titles, and UNC was trash when he took over.

My how quickly do people forget this program once went 8-20.

Safe to say it's a bit easier to get top level recruits attention when your name is roy williams vs. matt doherty. Doherty was awful. And North Carolina is hardly a talent poor state. Even with Dook and NC St. there.

Trash when he took over? His national championship rotation in 05 featured all of one player Roy actually recruited.

UNC's length is impressive but they appear to only have a couple of guys who can actually hit a shot.

it's interesting because roy could "easily" have like 5 national titles at this point. he had probably 7 or so national championship caliber teams in his time at kansas and won 0.

You mean Doherty couldn't coach his way out of paper bag with some top talent? There's a reason he was one of the NBA talent scouts at UK's practice a few weeks back. Even SMU fired his arse.

that team ended up having 4 first round draft picks, and a pair of second rounders in subsequent drafts.

Yep. They were pretty filthy.

Also have to give a shoutout to a coworker's son who plays for Butler, Kelan Martin. Came off the bench and scored 17 today.
