Listening to Marc Morial right now. Sounds like he's attempting to intise a riot in his own city with the shite that's spewing from his dick sucker.

I live in a town that is predominantly black, and no way it would happen here.

Theft, yes (though we're working on getting rid of them).

You don't think people like that are in Missouri?

It could definitely happen in Nola but would stop once the thugs reach the parish line. Too many old folks with guns in Jefferson and St. Bernard Parishes to keep the riots from spreading.

No. We live in harmony.

And think of the fallout from the Jena 6....

Wasn't cops, but way more atrocious.

People always talk about N.O. in these discussions, but I just don't see it. They didn't riot during the Rodney King crap. The Katrina stuff was very minor considering the state of affairs and how few cops were around. Hell they didn't even burn anything.
Then the tards on here repeated over and over how N.O. would burn if the Saints won the super bowl. Nope. Oh yeah, the NBA allstar game would be off the charts nuts. Nope.

And we have def. had our problems with police and thugs shooting at each other.

It could absolutely happen.

There is absolutley 0 doubt. And it would be way way way worse.

Our thugs are better organized, better armed, better prepared, and better experienced.

Our police are less tolerant and more prone to engage.

There would be fire fights, murders, rapes, all kinds of evil things. Ferguson had some buildings set on fire, and a couple injuries. They, like many cities, have a commercial section of the town and the residents live on the outskirts.

Here in New Orleans, our city is intertwined with businesses and residents, mixed income and mixed living neighborhoods. The riot would not be containable.

If that happened in NOLA there would be a gang war, and extreme violence and brutality.

Nola and BR are definitely possible if not likely. When I saw Lafayette and Houma as protest locations on national news publications, I did chuckle though. I don't see it happening there.

Obviously it could happen anywhere. I am not sure how far it would go in NOLA as I don't know how long the riot would last before many of the rioters started shooting and fighting with each other. I don't think JPSO would allow it to cross into Jefferson Parish.

All I know is that I would be waiting for them if I had a business. No way I let a bunch of street trash burn down my livelihood.

NOPD has some of the best crowd controlling tactics and experience in the world.

It could happen on a small scale in localized areas, but it would be shut down quickly.

The Katrina argument csnt be used here because much of the police force was already gone.

This. Bust out the horses and people will GTFO. See the Merritt Landry case. White homeowner got no charges after shooting an unarmed 15 year old black kid on the wrong side of his fence in the Marigny. There were marches here and there, but no riots.

So you choose to burn inside your business and die rather then collect a nice insurance check? Interesting choice cotton
