Amazon Prime shipping tip

I've gotten pretty good at racking up the eBook credits with Amazon. They have the option for standard shipping that gives you $1 credit for music, eBooks, or videos. The items seriously get to your house in 3 days instead of 2, so it's not a sacrifice at all if you are just buying Christmas stuff. I also make sure I order everything separately. Amazon is smart enough to consolidate orders (it's still free shipping anyway), and you get a $1 credit for each item that way.

That's solid advice. We started using it to get movie credits.

I've done that with the $3.99 overnight shipping. Ordered items separately, paid overnight for the one thing I really needed quickly, and did the free 2-day Prime shipping for the other items. Three times they've shipped everything in one package overnight.
