I just don't know what to think anymore. jennings was completely awful against arkansas and harris can't get a shot?
he has to watch a QB flounder out there on the field turning the ball over and not putting up any points and can't try to help his team?
i'm just at a loss

you think les is going to bench jennings in his junior season? his senior season?
I don't
What he said...

I just find it hard to believe that a coach would rather lose than play a better QB, just out of spite.
Maybe I have too much faith in common sense, but if Harris really was better, I have to think that he'd start.
I think what a lot of LSU fans don't understand is what Miles means when he says he will play the players that give the team the best chance to win. That doesn't always mean the players that can throw for tons of yards - especially if they throw ints.
Look at Wallace. I bet a lot of LSU fans were wishing we had him in the backfield. Miles would rather run the ball and throw a handful of safe passes than put the ball up in the air 40 times creating turnovers.
I would rather have LSU's offense than Ole Miss'. Is theirs more exciting? Sure, but it's also riskier. Miles has a want to avoid risk. Risk eats into his personal profit margin. I think he's just playing it as safe as he can.

An attempt to fill that glaring whole at QB prior to this season could have put LSU in place to win the West.
We signed a qb dumb arse. Had 4 qbs in February. You would be the guy bitching if we signed a juco qb and Harris went else where.

I was saying Miles has given up on Harris, that much has been apparent.
Is it? The guy played in what? 8 games with 1 start as a true frosh? That's pretty similar to what Jennings got but he would never have started if Mett wasn't hurt. No True frosh qb before that saw this amount of pt under Miles.

I hear OSU has an extra QB to spare

Since the Auburn game (6 games ago) he got to play in complete garbage time doing nothing against UK and then a snap when Jennings was hurt against Bama.
Meanwhile Jennings has stunk in almost every single game.
Please explain to me how that's not giving up on Harris. Miles has said frick it, JEnnings rest of the way no matter what.

oh good! more shotgun spread QB's to beat them into submission of running the i formation run heavy under center offense...
I find it hilarious that some of these people are hoping Kelly gets here. They've complained about Miles getting spread QBs for the under center pro style offense, yet hop on this train because it's anybody but Jennings. Kelly is also a dual threat QB, yet many of them complain that we should only recruit pro style statues. Not to mention that the guy is a problem child to boot.
LSU fans, seems like they really don't know what the hell they want.

Good, they're doing their job.

I'm just tired of the constant threads bashing the coaches as if there is a Heisman candidate wasting on the bench right now. A true freshman at that.
Nobody is saying heisman candidate, but seriously man, why in the HELL has Miles/Cam not played Harris at all over the past few weeks? Any other coach would have by now. As a matter of fact, just this year in the SEC, Sumlin, Butch, and Muschamp finally decided to switch their abysmal QBs (Hill wasn't that bad, just int prone in those losses), after poor and poorer play. Why in the hell have we not done the same?
How was Harris good enough to get a start @ Auburn of all places, yet never allowed to pass or run a play outside of Jennings getting hurt, since then? Wow, Harris went 3 of 13, well Jennings went 5 of 10, which isn't much better. Why when we went up 41-3 against Kentucky, does Harris not see the field until the very end of the game? Could he not hand off as well? Same goes for Arkansas. It's 17-0 with really nothing working and our final drive, where in the hell was Harris? They had no problem playing him against SHSU, ULM, and when he thought the game against MSU was well out of the way.

Just say no to Chad Kelly. I wouldn't mind offering Fitzwater though.
But I'm 1 of the people that think Harris is more talented than all of them and is the future for us at QB. Just play the kid.

I don't agree with what he said about Miles doing it in spite, but who is saying start? The guy hasn't even played a series since Auburn. He got to throw one pass late against Kentucky, and the only other time he has seen the field is when Jennings came up limping. Seriously, who in the hell lets a QB who is as bad as Jennings, play the rest of the season without any thought of putting Harris in?
I'm in shock that a guy can trot out a 50 or below completion percentage, 1 TD a game if he is lucky, and 120 pass yards if he is lucky, and still not get pulled, for ANYTHING different.

a limping, injured jennings is apparently better than a healthy brandon harris
again, i'm at a loss

Go after Kelly, if anything it lights a fire under Harris's arse

kelly is a shotgun QB
LSU would neuter him
LSU would neuter him

It's not that Harris isn't better or that Les won't put him in bc of the fans. He's said this many times, Harris lost the confidence of his teamates, and that is why he won't play him!! He doesn't know the checks, pre snap things he has to know to run the offense! Once he does he will start which should be next year. Some of you people are sad really. I agree that we should at least try a different QB if things aren't working though. Oh well next year lol

Miles's proven track record on selecting a good QB, Go Les

You're assuming Harris is going to be here next year. The fact that we are recruiting JUCO QB's might tend to indicate otherwise.

Even at the minimum, if he knows absouletly nothing and is semi-retarded, if you just put him in the shotgun and tell him to try to throw to the open man and/or take off running with the ball if he see's a lane we would have a much more productive offense than what we have now
