Maybe we started looking at JUCO QBs after Harris started following a bunch of other college coaches on Twitternets.

What if many of us are wrong and Harris just isn't any good?
So it was just shear dumb luck when he led the offense on what, 8 or 9 straight scoring drives this season?

So garbage time against MSU and good drives against NMSU automatically means he will be lighting it up all over the field?
I guess you thought Jennings was going to be great after having a nice night against Sam Houston if we are being fair here.

It wasn't all garbage time and Anthony Jennings turned the ball over 3 of his first 4 drives against NMSU.
Jennings also managed, what, 7 points against MSU?
It's hilarious people still even think Harris might be ACTUALLY worse than Jennings. Jesus Christ did you not watch this season or what? Miles ahs completely given up on Harris after he gave him a half against Auburn.

I definitely have not "given" up on Harris. We need better qb play. I'm just tired of the constant threads bashing the coaches as if there is a Heisman candidate wasting on the bench right now. A true freshman at that.

What is the deal with Bergeron? He was a pretty impressive juco kid last year. Is he that far behind Harris and Jennings they he is just an afterthought now? Anybody have insight?

If you have a JUCO guy who has run the show and understands the passing game and can really throw it and will understand what we ask of him, that’s a guy we would consider. Ideally, that guy would have to be here in the spring to fully comprehend what we would ask him to do at quarterback.
JUCO Recruit: So what you're telling me coach is the staff will ask me to hand the ball away between 40-50 times a game? I think I can handle that.

I? Are you Les Miles? I was saying Miles has given up on Harris, that much has been apparent.
Nobody is saying Harris would be Jameis Winston. But Jennings has been TERRIBLE this year. You have got to go with your other options when it gets that bad.

in pumper world, his success doesnt count because it was against bad teams.
AJs lack of success against those exact same bad teams doesnt count either.
it's hilarious.

Well mike Detillier said they should so it must be gospel.

I would like to have seen Harris there, but I suspect (with the way the o-line played) that Harris would have been snapped in half.
He still isn't physically ready to take the hits.

Really?
Bo Wallace did.

that's because the defense's have caught onto jennings and are teeing off on him and his lack of passing ability. no respect for the passing game = blitzing every down

he's bigger than what manziel was... this is a bullshite excuse

i'll never understand it...
"harris was bad at auburn!"
harris led the team to actual points. jennings couldn't against the 2nd team.
"harris put up 19 points in garbage time against MSU!"
jennings put up... Zero offensive points against MSU
"harris only scored 7 TD's against NMSU!"
jennings turned the ball over 3 out of the first 4 drives against the same team and was benched
it's unreal

Then why hasn't Harris won the job?
Is it really just the coaches?

you think les is going to make it look like the fans run his program? hell no
he's attached himself to the jennings ship, and he'll go down with it if he has to.

That's just dumb. It's sad that LSU fans actually believe this.

you think les is going to bench jennings in his junior season? his senior season?
I don't
I don't

I just find it hard to believe that a coach would rather lose than play a better QB, just out of spite.
Maybe I have too much faith in common sense, but if Harris really was better, I have to think that he'd start.
