No need. ATLs been kind to me. I'm not sure why it gets such a bad rap around here.
Eta: I did spend 4 yrs in STL so maybe ATL is just better by comparison

You claimed my earlier post "had nothing to do with the OP".
Well, here comes another that you'll probably feel the same way about. Most of DAL's customers will not oppose specific proposals Obama made at all. Again, content of the EO was not unreasonable. Simply wasn't.
GOP Congressmen look like xenophobic fooIs attacking its contents, rather than its Executive Branch expansion. Amongst other things, Delta probably does not want to appear xenophobic along with them. It is what it is.
The EO and it's merits and lack of merit have nothing to do with the thread.
The subject is why a public company would even publicly comment on a political event--particularly one very controversial among their customers as you can see in replies to this thread. My thesis is they are sucking up to Obama because they are fighting a second airport in Atlanta.

as opposed to a government entity or non profit---not in the sense of a private company vs a public traded stock holder company.

Crony Capitalism.
Remember, Obama is the only one who stands between Big Business and the people with the pitchforks.
Nice little airline you've got there. Would be a shame if anything happened to it.

I'm laughing because of all the subsidies they got and continue to get. They are basically a government entity.

Ironically, Delta’s support for Obama’s immigration reform allies the carrier with some of the airline unions it has bitterly resisted for decades.
More Union Dues!!!!

frick Delta, will never fly with them.
Yes you will
I never undersood why ppl get upset at companies about political issues.
Also Delta this immigration bill is good for it because it will make labor cheaper. Maybe they will hire some fine arse senorritas for flight attendants now.

Well freak Delta, but they are the only airliner worth a shite to fly into JAN so I guess I will keep using them to fly home.
So you abandoning your supposed principles for non-moral concerns is OK?

What do you never understand that WeeWee? It used to be the first rule of business--don't talk politics or religion with your customers.
They are simply supporting Obama on this in a very public way to stop the second airport in Atlanta IMHO.
