How is it weird that winters in FL are busier than summers? It's a billion fricking degrees there in the summer, you think the walking dead are gonna deal with that?

Are you there permanently for your job? Just wondering why you're in a hotel.
I'm usually in a different hotel every week for work. It sucked at first, I missed my family and friends. Then it got better once I met new people. But then after about a year I was over it. Ready to be back home or on a permanent location.

Nope but I live in Jacksonville but I travel a lot to south Florida. Lots of friends in Tampa/Clearwater/St.Pete. Also travel a lot to Boca, Ft.Lauderdale because my daughter plays on a nationally ranked soccer team. Just wanted to welcome you to Florida. Ok you can unpack your bags and welcome to Florida again.

It's no hotter in Fl than other southern cities and we never get 100 degree weather.
Here in Jax, because of the ocean, we are cooler than Atlanta and Birmingham during the summer.
Summer just lasts a touch longer.

Why would northerners vacation the few months out of the year it actually feel a good where they live?
Snow on the ground from November to May. Perfect time for a tropical vacation
