I have listened to him a few times and thought he provided some pretty good insight. But this morning he said a couple of things that I just had to shake my head at.......first, he said he did not want to see a rematch between Bama and MSU in the play-offs 
Really a Bama fan not in favor of a rematch.....hypocrite much.
Secondly, he said it's a joke that Justin Hardy was not even a semi-finalists for the Biletnikoff Award, which I agree with, but then he goes on to say that all those position awards are a joke and the Heisman is the only legitimate award in college football.
I thought he was going to blast the Heisman as the most overrated award in football but he did just the opposite. /rant

That is a joke. The guy is dominant. But it's the whole level-of-competition thing at play there.

I wouldn't say it's "overrated", but it has lost its luster a bit.
I like Greg McElroy. I think he does a really good job.

ESPN doesn't want a rematch because ratings
From an Alabama fan perspective I doubt he has any problem with it. I don't any Bama fans that do.

This. What I thought he was saying was simply giving a compliment to Miss St. - saying they are a tough team and he'd prefer Alabama not have to play them again. I could be wrong, as I was not listening that closely.
But as for the OP, LSU fans need to get over 2011 and having to play Bama in the championship game. Bama played by the same rules and in the same system as LSU and the process put them in the championship game. And Bama took advantage of the opportunity and whipped LSU's arse. Miles was exposed if not embarrassed.
The same type rules and system allowed a two-loss LSU team to get to the championship game after the 2007 season. And Miles and his team took advantage of the opportunity and beat Ohio St. I didn't hear any of us complaining about that result.
