As a two year old. Is that correct? They just said that on the Daily Show. Agree or disagree?

Pigs are very cautious in nature, so they get into less stupid situations as dogs and are much less likely to hurt themselves. However, they are often less trainable. Being trainable isn't just about intelligence. An animal does need a certain level of intelligence to be trainable, but animals with exceptional intelligence can be stubborn because they think they "know better". I have a dog that fits that mold. Pigs are often similar.

Some birds are better problem solvers than dogs.

A friend of mine just adopted one of those mini-pigs and that dude is really cool. You can tell he's smart too just by the way he interacts with people. Plus he's potty trained to go in a litter box.

A friend of ours on St John has a pig. It's funny as hell to watch that pig standing at the edge of the water outside of Beach Bar eating coconuts. What a life that pig has. Not a care in the world and it lives in paradise.

If they are smart why do they allow themselves to be mass produced for food consumption.

I don't need an Einstein for a pet, just a good friend. My beagle fits the bill there.

Of course if the pig pisses you off you can eat him with a clear conscience. I won't do that with my dog.

Maybe I need to rethink.

My neighbor had a pig growing up. It figured out how to unlock their gate and would walk over to our yard. Sometimes I'd catch him out back playing with my dog. That pig was a cool pig.
