I didnt realize the LSu fanbase is involved with 119 teams.

You are too rustled to even form cogent arguments at this point.

If you can't tell the difference between LSU and Troy, you have issues that can't be resolved here.

I take it he meant (SEC) championships.

Weak, even by your standards.

Why would he? It wasn't good enough to call 2011 a successful season.

Trying to read all posts in the context of the OP -- namely, SEC elite

LNCH...you and I and Dukke/Bengal all want the same thing.....a program and a direction that ALL fans can believe in again moving forward.

I don't have faith in Miles anymore...period.

Is that too much to ask for???

Defending what hes done in the past is great and all but it doesn't help us moving forward.

This board had all the same threads in 2008, and Miles turned it mostly around (1/9 notwithstanding). Until he stops bringing it top talent, I will give him the benefit of the doubt of turning around a from a season like this one.

Buit if next year is more of the same results wise, that benefit disappears.

I agree with you.

But I also see how some (pumpers) could use Miles' 2007-2011 window (up/down/up again) as an example of how Miles can manage this disappointing year into similar success in 2015 or 2016. It's not out of the realm of possibilities. Though, I agree this 2014 bad taste in my mouth, personally, gives me limited hope of a repeat of 2007-2011.

I just don't see why this makes someone a "pumper." I think it makes someone a realist. Most people have not sugarcoated what has taken place this season. I don't see most people saying Les can do no wrong and can never do anything to get on the hot seat.

I think most reasonable people can acknowledge Les has had a great run (the greatest in LSU's history), but he needs to make some noise next year if he'd like that run to continue.

Fair enough, I retract "pumper." Though, by the same reasoning, some labeled "nega" might possibly be realists themselves and have valid arguments for their concern.

Which is why you don't see me use those asinine terms.

This I can agree with. Since 1/9/12 we have been trending downward. This season is about as rock bottom as a team with this kind of talent should reach. If next season isn't an improvement, things need to change.

Name calling and profiling is easier (and preferred by some) than reasonable discussion/debate, at times.

His only national championship appearances happened in his first two years. Les has shown he can get back there with his own players over several years.

Coker went 11-2 his third year, same as Les did for his national championship in his third year
