Music board?

Figured this would fit better here.

I thought this was pretty cool. I know there is a lot of Fallon hate on here, but I dig stuff like this.

Awesome. The Fallon hate is ridiculous. He is awesome at what he does. People comparing him to Leno or Carson or whoever just isn't fair.

I am normally watching other DVR'd content when the late night shows are on, but when I catch some Fallon I tend to like it. Dude has enthusiasm, that is for sure.

I don't think Fallon is horrible, I've just always liked Kimmel's show better.

Jimmy Fallon has taken the Tonight Show into the next generation. His use of social media and YouTube is perfect. I subscribe to TTS on YouTube and watch new clips every day. His sketches are great, and let celebrities be silly, likable, relatable people which is what people want to see. I honestly think history will look VERY kindly on Jimmy Fallon's Tonight Show.

People hate Fallon? I mean, he's a terrible actor and all, but he seems perfect for his gig, as he is such a goofy and earnest fan of everything. I wasn't aware there were people under 60 pining away for Leno, who I thought we had agreed as a culture was pretty f'n terrible.

And come on, the Roots.

This. Fallon's schtik is great in small doses, but gets stale more so than Kimmel. Kimmel also makes some really funny videos and gets great celebrity cameos. I think Craig Ferguson is better than both, but I'm also an avid Daily Show/Colbert Report fan.

I'm a huge U2 fan and he probably sang that better than Bono would have. He tried to sound like the studio version, and he did a great job.

Rattle and Hum U2, right there.

Fallon is great with impression so him impersonating Bono singing was in his wheelhouse.

I never really listened to the roots much before, except on the Jay-Z unplugged album, but they are a really good all around band. Their ability to go from style to style.

Jimmy Fallon is living the life. I am extremely jealous of the endless amount of cool stuff he does with celebrities on his show.
