Unlike LSU, their powers that be saw Will Muschamp as a bad investment and acted quickly to make the necessary change. On the other hand, the bad investment here is going to linger like death by a thousand cuts, before the complacent LSU powers get their act together and do what needs doing.

Well to be fair, they have been a dumpster fire and lost go Ga Southern last year. Losing record also.

The two situations aren't analogous in any way whatsoever.

Muschamp has been on the way out since last year.

Yeah, it's an apples to oranges comparison.

Muschamp should have been let go last year while Les has had decent success for 10 years. No way similar situations

Miles wins a BCS title in his first 3 years and Muschamp loses to Georgia Southern.....not exactly a great comparison.

You can't be serious.

But then again I shouldn't be shocked at such threads anymore.

UF fired him a year late. Also while I'm no fan of Les miles or Joe Alleva, les hasn't had a dumpster fire like boom did last year.

The state is in such financial disarray that we cannot afford to cut his arse loose

Do you even kind of see the difference btwn Miles and Muschamp? Hint: start with the W-L records of both coaches and go from there.

And we were a couple drops away from beeting Bama. Whats your point? A loss is a loss. LSU is not in the same position Florida's in. I'd hope Les would step down on his own if we were.

I would like Miles to leave and give us some fresh blood... But LSU and FLA are no where near the same right now...

Right. Because Muschamp's record at Florida is so comparable to Miles's at LSU. . .

The state has zero to do with if Les Miles will be canned or not. You do realize that LSU athletics makes a revenue and is completely funded by private donations, right? Therefore the state is irrelevant as far as miles job security is concerned. The TAF has the treasure chest and it could be full if we really had to fire les miles.
